Affiliate Disclosure

Plain language, no fine print games.

Last updated: October 31, 2026

The short version

GeekDeal Digest participates in affiliate programmes. When you click a store link and buy something, we may earn a commission from the store. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes out of the store's margin, never out of your pocket. This is how the site funds itself; there are no paywalls and no paid placements.

Where the disclosure appears

Every deal card shows, right next to its button, whether it is an "Affiliate link" or a "Direct store link". In addition, every page on this site carries an affiliate disclosure block just above the footer, so you never have to hunt for it.

US: FTC Endorsement Guides

Under the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), a commission is a material connection between us and the retailer, and that connection must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. We disclose before you click the link — on the card itself, not buried in a footnote — and we keep this page linked on every deal page.

Which programmes we use

We are currently applying to these programmes. A link only carries tracking once a programme has approved us; until then it goes straight to the store.

What affiliate relationships do not affect

Sponsored content

If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labelled clearly at the top of the piece and kept out of the deals feed. We have not accepted sponsorships so far.

Prices and availability

Prices and stock change constantly. The timestamp on each deal card tells you when we last confirmed the price. The store's checkout is always the authoritative source. Spot an outdated price? Use the "Report outdated" button on the card — it helps everyone.
